Gail, This is a fantastic idea. I am glad I stumbled across your site. Thanks for doing this. Your views on learning about life from other people’s funerals is very progressive. Would love to see other people conquer the reactionary fear about death and really contemplate it on a much deeper level.

I thought this sounded weird when I first saw the headline but now that I understand what you’re up to, I think it’s a great idea.

As a grief counselor and an author of a book on grief, I have to say that funerals are an important part of the grieving process.

Because they’re so important I would love to see fewer funerals conducted per the wishes of the deceased and more planned for the needs of those left behind.
